Grounds & Gardening Volunteer Group

Join us each month 10am-4pm for our Grounds & Gardening Volunteer Group.

Lam Rim has over 8 acres of beautiful land, with a prayer path that encircles the building and with nature of all kinds. We need eager volunteers to help redevelop our grounds, maintain what’s there and make areas more accessible.

All gardening skills and levels are welcome. The group will tend to various tasks including :

• Ground clearance

• Shrub and flower border maintenance

• Patio maintenance

• Prayer path maintenance

• Public footpath maintenance

• Polytunnel and vegetable patch development

The days are fun, active and sociable with refreshments and lunch provided and with the worthwhile aim of helping people who come to Lam Rim enjoy the peaceful and joyous nature that surrounds it.
