from £0.00

  • Date: Saturday 1st June 2024

  • Time: 10am-4pm

  • Format: Day Course, Onsite

Overview

The Four Noble Truths are the foundational teachings of Buddhism that offer profound insights into the nature of suffering and the path to liberation, freedom from suffering. This was the Buddha's first teaching after he achieved Enlightenment, and it is as relevant today as it was 2,500 years ago.

The Fourt Noble Truths:

  1. The truth of suffering

  2. The truth of the origin of suffering

  3. The truth of the cessation of suffering

  4. The truth of the path to the cessation of suffering

In essence, The Four Noble Truths say that we all desire happiness and do not wish to suffer, and that by clearly understanding the causes of our suffering, we can work to permanently remove them, giving rise to happiness.

Join us as we explore The Four Noble Truths and how they can be applied in our day to day life, practising the causes of happiness for ourselves and others.
